Adam Sperry

Praised for his “rich vocals and dynamic palette” (Holly Harris, Opera Canada, Fall2019) Manitoban tenor Adam Sperry has had the privilege of performing with many companies across Canada.
Recent highlights include: Roberto in Manitoba Underground Opera’s production of Puccini’s Le Villi, Endymion in The Ewashko Singer’s production of Samuel Coolridge-Taylor’s Endymion’s Dream, tenor soloist with the Georgian Bay Concert Choir in their production of Mozart’s Requiem in D minor, tenor soloist with CAMMAC in their annual “Come Sing Messiah”, the Young Lover in Rachmaninoff’s Aleko with New Opera Lyra, and the tenor soloist in Carmina Burana with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra.
Adam is a graduate of the Schulich School of Music with a Master’s in Opera and Voice. As a vocal and piano instructor, his focus is trauma-informed holistic learning that connects the worlds of technique, style, music history, music theory, and ultimately music making as a tool for creating community.
